Mandatory Key Skills
- Database Management: Proficiency in working with both relational (SQL-based) and NoSQL databases. - MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
- Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement data models that support efficient querying and data storage.
- Data Warehousing & Data Lakes: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with designing and managing data warehouses. -Snowflake, Google Big Query, Amazon Redshift, Azure Databricks
- Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python and Java.
Good to Have Key Skills
- Data Pipeline Development: Proficiency in designing, building, and managing data pipelines to move and transform data from various sources to destinations.- Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow, AWS Glue
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Expertise in developing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into the required format, and load it into target databases or data warehouses.- Informatica, Talend, Azure Databricks
- Data Integration: Experience integrating data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and flat files. Talend, Apache Kafka, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Integration Services
Personal Attribute
- Previous experience as an Azure Data Engineer or similar role
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- The ability to design and implement well written code
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to test the data from source to the presentation layer
- Ability to support/troubleshoot data pipelines
- Confident and concise communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment, collaboration, and efficiency within teams
- Any Integration or cloud integration tools certification (Dell Boomi, Snap Logic, MuleSoft, Talend, Informatica Cloud, TIBCO, JBOSS FUSE/CAMEL, WSo2)

- Any Graduate (Engineering or MCA)
