Modern Slavery Statement - NeosAlpha

Modern Slavery Statement

NeosAlpha Technologies is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not part of our business or supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity in all our business relationships.

This statement document is made under section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.

Our Business

NeosAlpha is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting. Guided by our vision to earn the enduring respect of our stakeholders, we continuously strive to create a meaningful, long-term impact across industries and communities.

Operating across the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Australia, and India, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards across all aspects of our business. This Modern Slavery Statement applies to all our global operations and supply chains.

As a responsible business, success includes embracing actions across all three dimensions of sustainable performance: environmental, social, and economic.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chains include a diverse base that reflects the values of our clients around the world. NeosAlpha works with suppliers that support our long-term growth objectives, assist us in providing best-in-class services to our clients, and add value to our business by helping to drive competitive advantage and achieve strategic and operational goals.

We have classified our suppliers into three major categories:

  • Suppliers of People: This covers our contractors who work on our campuses/client projects and support our business.
  • Supplier of Services: This covers our partners who provide essential services (such as catering, food and beverage counters, transportation, construction etc.) on our campuses.
  • Supplier of Products: This covers our partners who supply us with products (such as IT hardware, software, electrical/electronic equipment, furniture, heavy equipment, stationery, etc.).

Our Commitments

We ensure that our suppliers adhere to all applicable laws of the geography in which they operate and ensure that there is no forced labour, slavery, or human trafficking by operating several internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business ethically and transparently. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and implementing and enforcing effective systems to ensure slavery and human trafficking do not take place anywhere in our supply chains.

  • We ensure all employment is freely chosen, with no forced, bonded, or involuntary labour.
  • We provide all employees with clear and understandable employment terms.
  • We comply with all applicable wage, hour, and benefit laws.
  • We actively assess and manage the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

As part of our commitment to ethical business practices, we ask all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, particularly Section 54: Transparency in Supply Chains.

Policies and Processes

Our Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct lay down our expectations of our employees and suppliers regarding business activities globally.

As part of our responsible supply chain efforts, we undertake the following:

  • During onboarding, our suppliers are required to sign the Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • In our agreements, we insist that our suppliers comply with local laws. We build long-standing relationships with local suppliers and make clear our expectations of business behavior.
  • We will also strive to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within any of our supply chain business partners and will not tolerate such activities either within the supply chain or within any part of NeosAlpha’s business.
  • Our payments are consistently above the stipulated minimum wages. In our non-India locations, we ensure checks to comply with local law requirements in our supply chains.
  • We operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK, and/or international territory checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.

Training and Awareness

We train relevant staff, particularly those involved in procurement, human resources, and supply chain management, aindicators to help us sustain our efforts and measure the effectiveness of the steps undertaken to remove modern slavery and human trafficking from our supply chain:

  • Working with our suppliers to acknowledge and socialize the Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Providing information to support staff on their rights, including those relating to sexual harassment
  • Periodic audits, along with remedial action

Monitoring and Review

Modern Slavery is a complex challenge that requires ongoing, evolving, and continually improving efforts. We will continue to review our internal processes to ensure that our obligations under the Modern Slavery legislation are met. This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary.
