Disconnected Employee Data
Employee data lived separately in SAP SuccessFactors and Elite 3E, making it difficult to maintain a consolidated, consistent employee record across both systems.
Our client is a leading UK law firm with more than 70 years of history and around 800 people across offices in the UK and internationally. The firm uses SAP SuccessFactors to manage HR data and Elite 3E for financial and practice management, and both systems depend on accurate employee information.
Employee data was held separately in each system, with no shared record connecting the two. Every time someone joined, left, failed to start, or changed roles, the firm had to update several interconnected Elite 3E entities correctly. The firm partnered with NeosAlpha to create a single, trusted employee record and automate lifecycle changes across systems.
The firm wanted to consolidate employee data from SAP SuccessFactors and Elite 3E into one golden record, while allowing each system to keep ownership of the fields it manages.
The objective was to automate joiner, leaver, no-show, and change-of-circumstance processing across Elite 3E, support both full and incremental data loads, and introduce reliable orchestration with error handling and retries to prevent duplicate or partial records.

Master Data Management and Integration
Employee data lived separately in SAP SuccessFactors and Elite 3E, making it difficult to maintain a consolidated, consistent employee record across both systems.
New joiners, leavers, no-shows, and changes of circumstance each required different operations across several interconnected Elite 3E entities.
The two systems held different employee attributes and data structures, making data mapping between them complex.
Records had to be synchronized without overwriting the fields owned by each source system, so that both platforms kept accurate data.
Managing new and updated records, tracking lifecycle changes, and recovering from partial failures needed reliable orchestration to prevent duplicates and inconsistent data.
Disconnected HR and practice management systems make it hard to keep employee records accurate. NeosAlpha helps law firms use Boomi DataHub and Intapp Integration Services to build golden records, automate lifecycle events, and keep core systems in sync.
Talk to a Boomi ExpertNeosAlpha configured Boomi DataHub (then known as Master Data Hub, or MDH) with a common Employee Golden Record model. The model consolidates SuccessFactors and Elite 3E data while preserving source-specific field ownership.
Our developers built automated Intapp Integration Services (IIS) processes that support full and incremental loads from SuccessFactors. Business rules and lifecycle flags identify joiners, leavers, no-shows, and changes of circumstance.
A centralized orchestration process evaluates lifecycle flags and creates, updates, or deactivates the associated Elite 3E entities: EntityPerson, Timekeeper, Vendor, Payee, and NxUser.
A dedicated synchronization process enriches golden records with Elite-specific attributes, so the master record reflects data from both systems.
Error handling, notifications, and lifecycle flag management support reliable processing and retries, helping the integration recover from partial failures without creating duplicate records.
One golden record is now shared by SuccessFactors and Elite 3E, with each system retaining ownership of its own fields.
Joiner, leaver, no-show, and change events are applied automatically across five Elite 3E entities.
Full and incremental loads run with error handling, alerts, and retries, so failed runs are flagged and can be processed again.
Centralized orchestration and lifecycle flag management reduce the risk of duplicate or partial employee records in Elite 3E.
