We are looking for talented techno-functional ERP Consultant who can design, configure and implement mid-market ERP solutions combining with his/her functional domain knowledge, technical knowledge and consulting skills, to meet client’s objectives.
An applicant must have 3-7 years of IT experience with min 3 years as technical or functional ERP consultant/ power user, covering requirements, design, development, testing and delivery.
Job Description
We are looking for an ERP Consultant who will have multiple responsibilities, including leading interaction with clients to understand their business requirements, being able to offer solutions based on your functional domain knowledge and standard features of ERP, briefing development team on any customisation required and ensuring implementation & QA of solution developed before handing over to the client.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interacts with clients to design solution specifications.
- Recommend and configure technology-based solutions to address a client or organization’s business needs.
- Key activities include planning, estimating, determining functional architecture, writing functional design specifications, managing customer account relationships and providing support.
- Analyze company business process and process requirements, identify data conversion requirements, provide suggestions for integration testing and go-live preparation.
- Provides two way communications between the customer and the extended project team
- Interacts with clients to determine solution specifications. Interprets the information and adapts as needed.
- Assist in design, demonstrate, development, testing, and implementation of financial modules according to the business requirements.
- Write business requirement documents and other functional related documentations
- Identify functional gaps with standard ERP features and provide corrective actions including customisation.
- Develop baseline increments for implementation of ERP solution. Ensure that project deliverables meet customer specifications.
- Perform daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
Prerequisite - Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in one or more of the functional domains like Finance and Accounting (preferably), CRM, Procurement etc.
- High level understanding of DBs, SQL, Server-side programming, UI configurations.
- Knowledge of integration between ERP and other applications like CRM
- Ability to configure and build reports from the reporting interface.
- Work experience on any mid-market ERP like NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, Zoho ERP.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong problem solver, structured, systematized and also pragmatic.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- BE/BCom/BBA & preferably MBA (IT and Finance specialisation)
