Multi-Channel Complexity
VIPR received submissions via email attachments, JSON records, and API-based uploads in different formats, increasing operational complexity.
VIPR Solutions is a leading provider of modern technology solutions for the global insurance market, specializing in delegated authority and program business. They deliver a comprehensive suite of software products that simplify complex data workflows, automate bordereaux (Insurance data reports) and binder processes, and enhance business intelligence across underwriting, risk, premium, and claims data. With deep industry expertise and a service-led approach, VIPR helps insurers, brokers, and MGAs improve operational efficiency, compliance, and decision-making. Their solutions are designed to make the complicated simple, backed by direct access to experienced product developers and leadership. Today, VIPR is trusted by a significant portion of the Lloyd’s market and a growing international customer base
VIPR aimed to modernize and streamline its bordereaux (Insurance data reports) submission process by building a centralized, automated system capable of handling multiple input channels, including email and API-based JSON submissions. The primary objective was to eliminate manual validation and file handling, ensure secure authentication for different tenants, and enable both real-time and scheduled batch processing. VIPR also required improved operational visibility through search and retry capabilities, along with a resilient mechanism to handle external API dependencies.
To address these challenges, we leveraged Boomi’s capabilities to build a centralized, automated integration framework for seamless and reliable data processing.

Multi-Channel Automation Framework
VIPR received submissions via email attachments, JSON records, and API-based uploads in different formats, increasing operational complexity.
Frequent issues such as corrupted files, invalid formats, missing passwords, and parsing errors led to delays and rework.
JSON submissions needed to be grouped and merged based on key metadata fields risk of duplicate records, and inconsistent reporting.
All submissions relied on Intrali Portal APIs for final processing required retry mechanisms and tracking to prevent data loss.
There was no centralized system to monitor submission status or retry failures, making troubleshooting difficult and reducing operational transparency.
Still managing data submissions across multiple channels manually? Let’s help you automate and bring complete visibility into your workflows.
Book a Free Discovery CallWe implemented a centralized integration solution using Boomi that seamlessly handled email attachments, JSON records, and JSON submissions with attachments. Each channel followed structured validation and processing workflows while feeding into a common backend framework. This eliminated fragmented handling and standardized submission management across the organization.
Leveraging Boomi, we have introduced automated file validation for CSV and Excel formats, password verification for protected files, metadata extraction from email bodies and API payloads, and structured failure notifications. Invalid files were automatically rejected with appropriate messaging, significantly reducing manual intervention and ensuring higher data quality.
NeosAlpha built a secure token-based authentication mechanism to ensure only authorized users could submit data. Tenant-based segregation ensured that data remained isolated and compliant with business rules. Passwords and sensitive information were encrypted, strengthening the overall security posture.
Using Boomi, we developed a scheduler-driven process to intelligently group JSON records based on key metadata attributes. Matching records were merged into standardized CSV files and processed in batch mode, improving reporting accuracy and optimizing end-of-day processing.
All incoming files were stored securely in cloud storage with unique identifiers, while metadata was persisted in a structured database. Submission states such as success, file upload error, or metadata upload error were clearly tracked, providing a complete audit trail.
NeosAlpha developed a reusable connector framework that authenticated with the Intrali Portal, uploaded files, posted metadata, and managed retry logic in case of API downtime. This ensured reliable data transmission without manual reprocessing.
To enhance business visibility, our team implemented Search and Retry APIs. Users could filter submissions by date, tenant, file name, or user, and retry failed uploads instantly. This provided greater transparency and operational control.
Eliminated manual email monitoring and file validation. Submissions from all channels were processed automatically, reducing operational workload and turnaround time.
Automated validation, structured metadata handling, and intelligent record merging significantly reduced submission errors and duplicate reporting. Data quality improved across tenants.
Real-time API processing combined with scheduled batch automation accelerated submission cycles. The introduction of search and retry capabilities provided immediate insight into submission status.
The solution was designed to scale with increased data volumes, additional tenants, and evolving business requirements. VIPR now operates on a robust, resilient integration framework capable of supporting long-term growth.
