Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst who can gather important company data and compile it into reports shareholders and departmental managers can use. We need someone who can take charge of a project and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. Our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes.

Responsibilities

Liaison & Communication

  • Ably represents, interface with and engage the business user.
  • Acts as a fully integrated team member.
  • Uses clear goals to communicate the project vision at the beginning of every release and sprint so that the team understands and is equipped to realize it.
  • Makes business decisions and clearly communicates requirements through epics and stories so they are understood.
  • Communicates status outside the team

Development

  • Prioritizes user stories by business value. Decides which user stories are scheduled into
    sprints. Provides rapid feedback.
  • Participates in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives,
    sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.

Application Support

  • Provides progress reporting
  • Assists as needed with backlog maintenance.
  • Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

Management

  • Is always accessible and participates proactively and constantly in the team activities.
  • Steers the project to ensure delivery of business value.
  • Is visible, vocal, and objective driven.
  • Perform Requirement Analysis and feasibility check using standard requirement techniques and create supportive document as part of solution design in accordance with technical team or architect team.
  • Sound understanding of Agile (Scrum) which involves Identifying the requirements as Epic or Features and then breaking it further into User Stories.
  • Managing and Marinating Product Backlog and making sure Dev team has enough requirement to pick up at any point of time thus mitigating ideal time.
  • Take part in Story Pointing and Poker Planning session and should be able to identify and monitor the effort estimate given for user stories.
  • Should be able to facilitate various Agile ceremonies like Daily Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective session.
  • Should be able to communicate any impediments and concerns to the concerned person and making sure the assigned work is not getting blocked
  • Should be ready for multiple Onsite Travel based on Customer Requirement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive Business Analyst experience on large and complex projects.
  • Strong Agile (Scrum) and Business Skills.
  • Ability to translate requirements to business domains.
  • Highly organized, structured and result driven.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of IT technology stack and previous experience.
  • Proficient verbal and written Communication skills, business savvy individual.
  • Interfacing with client’s Business and IT team, periodic to travel to customer location.
  • Proficient in business analysis, managing stakeholders, business acumen, project deliveries and timelines
  • Proficient at understanding the market, the customer, and the business in order to make sound decisions.
  • Self-starter, motivated, hardworking
