Comprehensive EDI Architecture Design
NeosAlpha consultants conducted a detailed assessment of existing B2B processes and designed a future-state EDI architecture using Boomi’s Trading Partner component. A structured mapping of trading partners, document types, formats, and communication protocols was created to guide integration design.
Scalable Multi-Format Transformation Framework
Over 50 EDI processes were developed using Boomi’s built-in support for formats such as ASC X12, UN/EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and others. Transformations, including EDIFACT to XML, XML to TRADACOMS, JSON to TXT, and JSON to PDF, were implemented to support diverse partner requirements.
Flexible Connectivity Across Communication Protocols
Depending on partner capabilities, connectors such as AS2, FTP, HTTP, DISK, and MLLP were configured to ensure reliable document exchange. In cases where partners lacked native EDI capabilities, alternative connectors were strategically implemented to maintain compatibility.
ERP-Centric Processing and Automation
All validated transactions were seamlessly integrated with the Westcoast ERP platform, enabling automated inbound and outbound processing while maintaining strict data accuracy and sequencing.
Proactive Monitoring and Error Notification
A structured error-handling framework was implemented to notify support teams immediately when validation or processing failures occurred. This ensured rapid troubleshooting and minimized operational disruptions.
